Therapy

Therapy is grounded in building a trusting relationship between you and me, as the therapist, with the purpose of offering connection, growth, and healing. Together we create a space for you to talk about and understand how your experiences shape your world: your sense of self as well as your relationships with others.

You will be supported in becoming more aware of, exploring and understanding your experiences- particularly those inner experiences of your thoughts, sensations, and feelings – that may have been troubling you or causing you pain. We’ll seek to bring conscious what has been unconscious, increasing awareness and understanding of who you are and why you do what you do. Ultimately, we will work to explore what you truly want from your life to thrive.

Why Teletherapy?

 In 2020/2021 when online therapy blossomed throughout the psychological profession, the obvious answer to this question was COVID 19.

But there are other advantages that have remained to doing remote therapy, such a choosing the right therapist without being limited by proximity to you. You may appreciate the discretion of picking up the phone, tablet, or laptop in the comfort of your own space to go to a therapy session.  Teletherapy also eliminates any mobility and/or travel concerns and difficulties.

Crucial to the success of therapy is finding the right therapist for you.  You may live anywhere in the world but I may be the right therapist for you living in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim, Ireland. The distance no longer prevents us from working together to heal, grow, and thrive.
